Bingley Chess Club
History

Bingley Chess Club was established 10th June 2003.

We have been unable to find any record of Bingley having had a Chess club in the past, but if you know of any past Bingley Chess Club please let us know. The club competes in the Bradford & District Chess Association (BDCA) leagues and competitions. The BDCA was first established around 1900, and re-established 1925.

• 2007 Season: First Team promotion to Division 1.
• 2006 Season: BDCA Team Lightning Champions.
• 2006 Season: Clough Shield Champions. (join award with South Bradford)
• 2005 Season: Division 3 Champions.
• 2005 Season: Clough Shield Champions.
• 2004 Season: Runners-up in the Clough Shield.
