Instead of playing correspondance chess over the net why not pay a visit to
Clayton Chess Club where you can play an actual person across a board.
Novice and experienced players welcome. Recently promoted to Division 1 of
the Bradford league, we are hoping to start a second team in Division 3.
Match nights are Tuesdays at the Fiddlers Three, Pasture Lane, Clayton
Start times are 7:30 and a game can last for up to 3 hours, or as little
time as it takes to win (or lose)! Various other competitions are also organised,
for example, individual championships and rapid play competitions.
There is also the opportunity to play for a Bradford team in the Yorkshire
league on Saturdays. there are openings for all levels.
